WARL Rescue Me Gala Event!!!

We had an awesome time tonight at the Rescue Me Gala – a benefit evening for the Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL). Dogs of all types brought their human companions out for an evening of fun and tons of Max & Ruffy’s organic dog treats! We are completely exhausted but all smiles after an evening of fun, laughter, and comfort knowing how many dogs were able to enjoy our healthy treats!

Max & Ruffy’s, COK, and a local restaurant????

Hey All! What’s more satisfying than eating a vegan meal? How about eating a vegan meal to show support of a restaurant expanding their vegan options?
Toscana Grill, located in Arlington, VA is doing just that thanks to the work of local animal rights group Compassion Over Killing (COK). COK has been working hard with Toscana to make a conscious shift. It paid off and Toscana Grill is adding even more vegan options to it’s menu—and it’s celebrating by going 100% VEGAN every weekend in April! Please show your support of their efforts by coming out to some, or even better all, of the weekends during the month of April. To top the whole month off, the last Sunday will feature a “Bring Your Dog to Brunch” day on Sunday, April 25th! Us folks from Max & Ruffy’s will be there sampling out treats to all the doggie brunchers – we will also have product on hand to purchase. The Animal Welfare League of Arlington will also be there to show support of compassionate efforts and to showcase of few of their incredible dogs that need loving homes…who knows you might go home with a full belly, a potential new friend to adopt, and awesome dog treats! Click here to learn more details about each weekend. Hope to see you there!

What’s going on at Max & Ruffy’s….

A lot has been going on here at Max & Ruffy’s. We have been busy making treats (of course) and preparing for the launch of our NEW flavors! We are very excited about these awesome new treats! There are three new flavors, all of which are GRAIN-FREE, and your dog(s) are going to love them! Over the past several months we have handed out a whole bunch of these tasty morels to an array of dogs and have received excellent reviews – yes, even from the “picky” dogs, or discerning as we like to call them. Now that we have you all excited you are probably wondering when your dog can get their paws on these, right? Well, we are anticipating a launch date of May 1st if all goes according to plan – basically we are in the final stage of package design with Raven + Crow Studio and then it’s off to the box company for printing. Yes, we are very eager to debut the new flavors – let’s just say they are simple, healthy, and awesome!
Stay tuned!!

WARL Pasta for Pets Fundraiser

Lucy scores a tri-pack of Max & Ruffy's

Pasta for Pets spaghetti dinner and game night is one of the Washington Animal Rescue League’s most popular family affairs. Pasta for Pets benefits the Love Fund for the League. The Love Fund enables WARL to pay for urgent medical treatment for animals who would otherwise not be able to be treated. We had a blast playing BINGO…and so did Lucy who won Max & Ruffy’s treats for her dog Natalie! Eat ’em up Nattie!
